Thank you all for the help. Your descriptions told me what to look for and also Snyder's and Bratton's have good diagrams. Looks like a fairly easy fix to me. By the way, I forgot to mention in the original post that I started on this because I don't think I'm getting the mileage I should and...
My GAV has limited movement - from about 11 o'clock to 2 o'clock and it will not hold any position in between. It's not working at all I guess. The choke works fine and the engine starts and runs great with no backfiring or black exhaust. I have a Zenith carb and am using zero ethanol gas and...
Just curious. You've advertised (on 1/13) a set of 1930 YOM Mass tags with the same number (72,555). Does Mass reuse identical numbers in successive years?
Six weeks ago I had my newly restored 30 Tudor shipped to me in Florida from Wisconsin. After talking to about a dozen brokers and shippers I used Reliable. I talked directly with the company and I believe they have a good reputation. They are a little expensive ($1617) but they did what they...
I thought finding a cover would be easy. Wrong again. I'm looking for something to use inside the garage to keep dust (and fingerprints) etc off the paint on our 30 Tudor. Prefer something at the low end of the price range. Any suggestions?

Bob,
Thank's for the info on the rust inhibitor. I'll check with a couple part supply places here to see if I can add anything to the puzzle. Will let you know.

Thank's Bob. Yeah, the Prestone was in the radiator when I received the car. I haven't driven it that much yet and it hasn't foamed up or overflowed but it does tend to overheat. I think I'll go with distilled water and an inhibitor. I have a bottle of Water Wetter but I don't think I'll use it...
I am in the Tampa area. I recently bought a Wisconsin 30 Tudor and it has a Prestone mixture in it. It looks like there is no good reason I shouldn't drain it. Any suggestions on just distilled water with a rust inhibitor. What about Water Wetter?

Thank you Tom, I'll try that. By the way, we lived in your city for several years a while back. Great place to live but a little cold during the winter.

I think you mean connect the battery back positive to starter (I have it out of the car now)? I'm not sure how I could use the dome light from another car. Is there a test light I could use for that? Thank's for the suggestion Tom
