I read a post about upgrading the stock A mechanical brakes to a 35 mechanical brakes but I cant find the post again. I was curious to know what is all involved in the conversion process and if there is much gain to this upgrade.

I am attempting to remove the gas tank of my 29 Fordor and have a question on whether or not I have to remove the wood dash piece to get the tank out. Thanks

I just checked the number on the fuel tank firewall wall side and it read: 2 4 29.

When I get off work i will try to find the date on the fuel tank.

It is a fordor.

That is the correct, i took the number off the water pump. I will check the engine this evening if i can find any numbers on the block.

The handbrake is next to the gear shifter.

I am looking to correctly identify my model A. I found an engine number of A-8506. I am not positive if this is the original engine. The plate on the firewall is unreadable. I was wondering if there are any other locations where i could find an identification number?
