40cpe thanks The black fender has a smooth transition to the running board and the blue one is not as smooth has a foot as you described so i think it is a 1938 deluxe and the black is a standard it is not a 1937 there is no bend on the fender i have a 37 fenders as well.

I have fenders for a 1938 standard and a 1938 deluxe I think? Can someone give me some insight on the pictures? I believe the blue one is a 1938 deluxe because of the way it drops off at the back and the black is a 1938 standard more of a slope at the back !! What do you guys think?? Thanks in...

Hope this works! Attached are two pictures, the blue one i believe to be a 1938 deluxe and the black a 1938 standard. Can someone confirm this or not. Thanks Terry The back of the fenders seem to be different!!
