Exterior Trim panel below Windshied (30 couoe$

I am looking for the panel that fills the gap between the gas tank and windshied on a 30 coupe. I am really just looking for local sales only (cash). Anything that is reasonably solid (rust pitting ok, not rot). Need a good price. Thanks'

    Engine stand adaptor

Pshhh... If you want good and cheap, I got the solution. I just had a piece of right angle stock, 10 gauge, and drilled 3/8 I believe holes 3 inches on center away from each other on one side. The oil pan bolts can be taken out from the bottom and threaded through the top and your holes. Then...

    Quick and easy: Steering question

Good idea. However, this will all be for naught if the lock position is where the body of the tie rod end is over the radius rod. The body of the tie rod end is larger than the bolt setup anyways. Does anyone know how the setup looks at lock? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Quick and easy: Steering question

The stock spindle allows for the steering to move with the backing plate. This has no effect on the turning because the link is always the same distance away from the backing plate. I am thinking that if I flip the nut and bolt upside down I can also grab some clearance, as the bolt head is...

    Quick and easy: Steering question

Hello there. I am in the middle of my build and am finding that my radius rod is coming into contact with the castle nut of the tie rod end. I reversed the tie rod end so that the bolt side was further front. (I split my bones and bent them. By flipping them, this pushed the castle nut in...

    WTB: 1930 Coupe Floor/ Subrails

Posted on the HAMB as well... Looking for someone local. I am getting to that point in the build where I get to do body work. I have no floor or subrails at all. What I would love is something like what is seen in the following link. http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/272074984648 I am...

    Steering Worm Assessment Needed

I got what you are saying; just trying to get the project down the road, and if I don't have cash for other things, it isn't going to work. However, I guess I see your point. Now is it suggested to just buy a whole new shaft with bearing surfaces, or can a machine shop handle pressing one off...

    Steering Worm Assessment Needed

Hello. I am trying to build my car on the cheap, and have made my way to the steering. I have it taken apart, and the Les Andrews book says "replace if worn". I am not experienced on steering worms, so take a look and tell me if you think it looks worn. Tell me if you need more photos. Sent...

    Wanted: 38 Transmission Clamshell

Need one for my project, please pm me if you know of any. Would prefer to keep it local to near where I am in North Chelmsford MA, but money and condition talks. Do not have a lot of money to invest in this part however. Edit: I have now gotten one. Thanks.
