I have run a wire from the battery ( ground)right to the sending unit and it was the same. I did that cause the new tank is coated and I thought maybe it wasn’t grounded. How much voltage is supposed to be going through the c v r. Could to much voltage cause a problem.

One came from Dennis Carpenter and the other from autokrafters. Both look exactly the same

As far as I can tell. It goes up about half way when it’s running

I’m right in that range with both senders
