'30 Tudor sedan 1 piece apron and running board

Hi, looking for ideas on how to replace the running boards on my Tudor. I know I have to lift the body to replace the 1 piece apron/running board. The car was restored 40 years ago by my father. Paint is still good so don't want to scratch it Thanks. Denis

    Model A Fleet

Not a "brand" per say. Around this area, our family is known for owning and driving Model As. All my cars have a Maltese Cross on the rear, 34 years firefighting, now retired.

    Electrical issue

Hi guys, I'm having a problem with a 29 Speedster that is not restored but I would like to get running before I do restore it. I have a short somewhere which causes the control arm to the throttle to get super hot (burned twice). The starter has a lot of drag and I have replaced it with a...

    Best Year for Model A

Like others in this thread, it depends on personal taste and what they have in their garage. My father started driving Model A's in 1940 at the age of 16. He passed on last December still owning 2, '31 Coupe and '31 Deluxe Roadster. He always maintained that 30-31s had the nicer lines...

    '29 Speedster

Hi, I recently bought a Speedster with an all steel body. The previous owner gave me a picture of when he brought it home, 1970. It sat in storage since then. The cowl is 28-29 and the boat tail bolts directly to it. The engine has been modified with a Weiand head and downdraft carb. I was told...

    Poor spark

Hi, I'm having a problem with spark on my '31 roadster. I have replaced plugs, condenser, points. The distributor lower plate is fairly new. I have power to the point arm but it won't jump to the point block. Is there a short that I missed or would the coil have this effect. Normally I can...

    Model A Roadster??

Found this in a garage in Northern Ontario. It's a 1929 chassis with an all steel body. Stored for 45 years its part of an estate sale. The body is supposed to be by Strauss. Has anyone see this before? Also what is it worth? Thanks.

    30-31 cc pickup info needed

Hi, in looking at the pictures you posted, I was wondering what the dimension from front to back of the crossmember. I have restored a Late '31 CC pickup. I ordered a new crossmember from Snyder's and it was too narrow. I had a new one fabricated to match the original. Snyder's told me that...

    New to the site

Good morning, I am new to this site but have used it to gather information while working on my cars. I restored a Late '31 wide bed pickup from ground up. I also have a '30 Tudor which was restored by my father 30 yrs ago. Thanks to all for the support over the years.
