    Huckster inside door latch

Yes! that's the inside door handle/latch assembly that I have only seen brief glimpses of. Where could I buy a set of them? My huckster has evidence of some sort of door panel that was attacked inside. I was under the impression that it has some sort of fabric or padding on the inside. But...

    Chrome dash panel doesn't fit

I bought a repo chrome dash panel for my 1931 Huckster. After installing the gauges I attempted to mount it on the dash. The gas gauge was recessed at least a quarter inch from the surface of the panel. There is really no possible way to actually use this panel. Has anyone else ever seen this...

    Brake pedal assist spring

I should be able to figure this out but apparently can't so far. Some time ago I bought a kit designed to bring my brake pedal back to full height so my brake light wouldn't remain on. It consisted of a heavy hooked arm, a spring and a clip that apparently hooks somewhere. I lost the...

Great service from Tam's and UPS

Tams provides the best model A service anyone could ask for. I'm on my third restoration of a model A and have bought supplies from Tam for years. I always receive lightning fast service, great prices from a knowledgeable guy who at times actually tries to talk me out of buying something...

    Brassworks Radiator and Motometer

Hi guys I just bought a new Brassworks radiator for my 1930 to cure my overheating problems. The radiator is great, looks very nice, but I had an issue with my motometer that I thought I ought to mention it to anyone who has a similar experience. When I put the motometer on the filler neck and...

    Radiator for a driver

Even after repeated flushings my radiator won't cool my A. Guess i'll bite the bullet and buy another one. Most parts houses are out of them for at least a month, so I'll have to wait for one. Does anyone have strong opinions on the ones to stay away from? Most are pretty expensive so I don't...

    Cooling System Problem Up-Date

I have the same sort of trouble with my 1930 pickup. I drive it about 10 miles and the radiator temp is 190 at the top inside and 150 at the bottom. It eventually overheats and blows antifreeze all over the place, even though I'm driving on flat land. A friend of mine uses 10 percent muriatic...

    Rear end has problems?

I have a 1930 pickup. While coasting slowly down my driveway (which has a slight slope)with the clutch pushed to the floor and the transmission in neutral, something in the rear end or driveline will grab after coasting a few feet and actually stop the car. I thought it was a brake so I jacked...
