I acquired a NOS 1940 Ford I-beam axle. Before I install into the wishbone, is there a front or back to the axle? The kingpin lock bolts fit front or back exactly the same.

From what I remember when I had my starter rebuilt - the rebuilder said that there is alignment bumps in the starter pieces (male & female). Make sure they are aligned perfectly or it will **** the rear bearing resulting in binding and no starting when hot. When it's cold, there's enough...
