    Ford Script Flatbed

Hello, All: I have a Ford Script flatbed in decent shape for sale. The steel is solid -- the wood needs replaced. Comes with all mounting hardware, spacer blocks/etc. Note that it is still mounted to my off-topic truck -- this sale is for the flatbed itself only, not the truck. It's a...

    1930 Roadster Rear Spring

Hello, All: I've run a few searches and found a couple relevant threads, but not a definitive answer... I have a 1930 Model A Roadster (the one Flop is doing the miraculous sheet metal work on) and I'm getting close to putting it all together -- at least for the test fitting of everything...

    30 ROADSTER -A hot rod in 1956 - Time for a refersh in 2012

Karl, You could be right. Since you read the whole thread, I'm sure you saw that this roadster started as a basket case/Frankenstein project. It wouldn't surprise me at all if even the original portions of the body were a mixture of all '30 variations. -Jeff

    30 ROADSTER -A hot rod in 1956 - Time for a refersh in 2012

Small Update: Frame repairs are done and it's looking good -- maybe a little too good! Flop will be delivering the frame back to my place to install the running gear/suspension -- and then it's back to his shop for final fitting of the body. We're getting there -- slowly, but surely. -Jeff

Ford Script Flatbed (the actual bed) - ID Needed

Thanks to all! If anyone knows anything else, please keep the info coming. This bed is almost certainly going to get pulled off this truck and sold (we're putting a large stock-appearance oversize pick-up bed on the Dodge). I'd like to learn all I can about the Ford script flatbed in order...

Ford Script Flatbed (the actual bed) - ID Needed

Hello All: I frequent the Model A forum, but I'm in need of some help from the late '30s/'40s crowd. I recently acquired an OT farm truck (1947 Dodge 1.5-Ton) from my wife's family that has a Ford Script flatbed on it. I've attached a few photos of the bed. It's a stake-side that measures...

    The Snowbirds...

Here's one that currently resides on South Bass Island / Put-in-Bay, Ohio...yes, there are islands in Ohio :-) The sign claims it's a 1924 Model T "snowmobile" that was, "Built for the U.S. Government to deliver mail in Minnesota."

Flop -- It almost looks weird sitting on an actual frame! ...but I'll get used to it ;-)

    30 ROADSTER -A hot rod in 1956 - Time for a refersh in 2012

Great minds, Banky! ...that's already in the works. We're going to add the month and year to the same location on the driver's side -- either while it's at Flop's shop or whenever I get the rest of the car together. It was going to be "Dec 2012", since that's when the major work really took...

    30 ROADSTER -A hot rod in 1956 - Time for a refersh in 2012

Simply amazing -- bet it hasn't looked this good, since it was first cut-up in the '50s.

Canfield is making me build a Roadster! Can I build it from swap meet only parts?

Tom -- Piecing my Roadster back together from scraps hasn't been enough torture for ya? ;-) -Jeff
