Yes I know all about Mildenhall being closed, I think by 2017 sometime. Sounds about right they, the Gov just spent a few million dollars to upgrade the runways so why not close it. It's just money after all and is the tax payers anyway. My wife would like to know what the building is in the first PIC, she said it looks familiar to her. We were at Mildenhall for a brief visit Jan 2003. We left the day before the big snow that blocked the Motorways. By the way, my wife is from a village about 6 miles from Cambridge (Fulbourne) Her family had about a 700 acre farm there. G. White and Sons Dairy.
Yes the weather here can be pretty awful at times, not as nice as Marvin I expect. The building is my sons school, Framlingham college, that shot was just after a tuck run for essential sweet supplies!
