I hate to be picking on you and your A, but just had to pipe in once more about this picture. It is not a safe practice to use copper line for your breaks. Copper is soft and could split or brake and then were would you be. Steel or stainless steel brake lines are the norm. You might want to replace the copper lines, and soon.
Don't worry about feeling bad for having comments, I need all the help I can get to make this old car work as safe and reliable as possible!
You're probably right about those tubes, they were not my chose. I bought the car built this way, first I just want to make everything work again, then I can start making it better. I have put in a rebuilt engine, but when I started it up, a LOT of oil was finding its way out from the cotter pin under the clutch house. So, it might still be a looong way to go until this car is back on the road. But I have to start somewhere, therefore I'm starting with trying to make the old setup work again. So far has given me more resistance than appreciated. But the good thing is all my buddies out here at the Fordbarn, you're one of'em!
