New white oak being layed over the old oak floor which is serving as the pattern. We removed everthing from the floor - all the metal screws, fitting

In Richard's garage, when the body came off, I knew it was all doable.
My engine with a crack in the block. We discovered this when taking the body off the chassis. This engine was rebuilt at Bentley's in Maysville, GA
The rolling frame was strengthened by putting heavy bolts at the corners. Super way to move the Body around as we work on the chassis.

My friend, Richard, built 'temp firewall', wired, setup for start. What happened next: 2 starts that ran for 3 seconds. 3rd start ran for 30 seconds then engine seized. Chassis and engine are fresh from Bentley's Restoration Shop in Maysville, GA. This is our first attempt to get engine running. Lots of work on chassis previous to the date.
