Hi, thanks for your kind words. That color is 1940 Ford Cloud Mist Gray, I know, it actually is a green-gray color. This was one of 3 colors the V8 or commonly called Standard cars came in. Ford painted the standards Cloud Mist Gray, Black, and Lyon Blue. If you wanted to pay extra, you could get any of the Deluxe model colors. My coupe was originally this color so I kept it. It is my favorite 1940 Ford color, I have another 40 that is Acadia Green which is actually a dark green that came out late in the 40 production line, often called a "Spring Color" in an attempt to increase sales.
