Thank you! If you are a member of the EFV8 club, my wagon was on the cover of the V8 Times Sept/Oct 2015 and there is a story about the restoration of the car inside. I did choose the Acadia Green (a late spring color) because I thought it would play well with the honey tone of the varnished maple, and my car was a very late car (500 from the end of the production). The short version of the story is that another club member joined our RG and he also had a 40 deluxe woodie. Between the two of us we had a complete set of patterns and he was a "wood artist". We traded work, I did all the body,paint,mechanical work on both cars, he cut out the wood for both cars. We made our plywood by taking aircraft grade maple plywood and veneering it up to the proper thickness. Hence, I chose the quilted maple for my top ply.
