whitewalls

Hi Barner's, I have a 34 pickup & have not bought tires for it yet, I will be using 16 in. spoke rims even thoug 34 had 17 in. I would like to see pictures of both blackwall & whitewall tires like the 40 pic's that were posted. This will help me in choosing between black or white.

As for me, I don't like white walls on pickups. Those were work trucks, not sports cars. OMO

"Were" being the operative word in that statement... They "were" work trucks, now they've retired and are mostly used for fun so, dressing them up with white walls, etc. is done all the time. You'll even see them (trucks) displayed on the show field at EFV8 Club Meets, etc. The bottom line, it's an individual choice... If you like whitewalls, use em.

Merlot rides very nicely on his Coker, Firestone pattern, bias ply tires. Also using the 1935 wire wheels. We have now driven 2000 miles this year. He's very good at 60 MPH, but we can talk better if travelling at 45 or 50 MPH. Byron W.

In my opinion there are far to many running white walls these days. I especially dislike them on spokes…..but that’s just me.
