Has anyone heard of a help manual/book that was written by a gentlemen with the last name Serfass? They say he did tech tips for a magazine and compiled all his tips into a Book. Wanted to know if anyone can point me in a direction to get a copy?

Also I read some posts that there is a Model A magazines out there - can anyone give me some direction how to subscibe to a Model A magazine.

"Model A Q & A Workshop Manual" by Fred Serfass. Macs indicates that they have them in stock. The "Restorer" magazine is publish by MAFCA (Model A Ford Club of America) bi-monthly (6-issues a year) plus they have compiled them into a series of books which are up to volume 7 now I believe. MARC (Model A Restoreres Club)publishes the "Model A News", also a bi-monthly magazine. Lots of stuff out there about the A-bones you just have to join a club to get a magazine.

Don't forget about the Model A Times...great information.

Then there is the Double A'er if you are ino the BIG IRON stuff. Great research items in that one.

I was planning on Joining MARC, I'd get a magazine helping me as a bonus?

Reason I ask, Fred and his son are giving me help on my restore, and was looking at getting his book before we get together. Better to look over his book before he comes over to have my questions together.

Thanks

GOD...I am sorry "petasux"!

In the Model A/AA Ford hobby "BIG IRON" means the heavy duty trucks.

A's are cars and light commercial vehicles.

There were the Model A's and the Model AA's. The AA's have a much larger and heavier frame than the A's.

What are you sorry for? I'm sorry for asking dumb questions that most of you guys probably already answered thousands of times over and over with each new person who joins - I'm new and may ask a bunch of dumb questions, so I appologize.

SORRY?!?!?!...I'm SORRY and appologize to you that I did not explain myself better to you in the first place "petasux"...There is no such thing as a "dumb question" on this site so there is NO NEED for YOU to appologize!!

Thanks Pluck and looking at your website, I see a ton of info in there that help me understand things.

Thanks For those who asked, Here's a pic of Pop's 29 A Phaeton that I final got pulled from the Barn-next step cleaning my garage and get this in dressable condition.

Question can anyone tell me what the lights are on top of the headlights? These headlights aren't the original are they?

Thanks "petasux"...

By the way, there are quite a few other websites for which others have done also which will give you much more valuable information on the Model A/AA Ford.

Wish there was a list of all of them on this site but I do not think there is.
