36 Radiator overflow tube

Hi guys: I know a bit of the model a's, but not as much of the v8's. 1) Does the 36 radiator have an overflow tube? 2) If so, where is it located in teh top tank. I am working on a customers 36 woodie wagon, just got the radiator back from the shop and find it is building pressure, and cannot find the overflow tube at all. I don't know if it was there when I took it to the shop, or they took it out and soldered up the hole, I hate to take the thing out again as you have to take half the car apart to get it out.

Thanks,

Think it should have been at the top of the tank in the middle on the front. Mine's a '35 but pretty sure it's the same or similar.

Found a pic.

Anthony is correct. Mine's a '36 and the tube comes out of the front of the filler neck then straight down the center front of the radiator. It terminates at the lower edge of the recess on the bottom tank.

Mark, Here is a beatup 36 but it shows the overflow tube and how it comes out of the top tank and goes down the front of the radiator.

My apologies.....I thought for sure that it comes out of the neck.Wrong.It comes out of the bottom of the top tank as Don said.I must have had a visit from the radiator fairies last night. Sorry.

Thanks for the info guys. I ended up adding an overflow tube into the bump on top of the upper tank. A lot easier than pulling the radiator and taking it 75 miles to the rad shop.
