I was advised to contact FLAT ERNIE here on the Early V8 forums.
I'm putting a BW T-5 in my Model A . (14 spline). I need to know what clutch plate to use. Will my Model A pressure plate work? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You can contact Flat Ernie with a PM.

Are you using a 200 CID 4-cylinder or a V8 for this application? The model A engine has a complicated flywheel and clutch but it can be modified. The V8 would be easier for sure.

Clutch plates can be custom built to about any configuration, but a lot more information is required for anyone to provide advice. As rotorwrench says, what engine, what type of adapter, etc. Assume that it is an S10 T5 correct?

Engine is a 200ci model a with a miller head. Bellhousing is Mac's for a
S-10 t-5 to a model A.

When you say Macs, do you mean MacsSpeed? I got my V8 adapter from Graeme, and he provided all the clutch and little bits I needed too. Give him an email, he's very helpful and has everything you need. www.macsspeed.com

I know about V8s, not the Model As, so I did a little reading. All of the adapter suppliers also have clutch plates and you can use the original flywheel, etc. So, now my question is what are you trying to do? If you just want a clutch plate that will work contact any of the suppliers, in your case Macs would be were I would start (as Bassman posted). Or are you looking for a clutch out of something else that will work in your application?

I bought my Mac's bell housing used. It bolts to the A flywheel housing and it's set up for the T-5. I'll follow Bassman post and contact Macspeed and see if they can help. I'm just trying to get a disc that will work with the A's flywheel and pressure plate and fit the T-5 spline.
Thanks for the info on Macspeed.
