40 gas tank

Trying to figure out how the gas tank is installed to the frame on my 40 pickup. The bolt kit came with some springs that I can assume sit under the frame while the tank sits on top? Anyone have a pic. A Clue??? thanks

The tank sits atop the frame. Between the frame and the tank are pads. One pad on each side. The pads are rubber, reinforced with cotton threads.

Only one spring is used to attach the tank to the frame. The kits you get from Mac's, etc. are incorrect.
The right side gets two bolts. The heads have small holes that a safety wire is threaded through. Look close at the inside frame rail and you'll see a 'bump out'. The wire goes through this 'bump out' as well as the two bolts.
The left side gets one (long) bolt with a spring. This bolt has a small hole in it as well for the safety wire. This side also has a "bump out" in the frame that a safety wire goes through.
