Damaged part

Just said a new fan was being shipped. Voice mail -called while I was at work. Wonder if ford barn posts expedited process?

I have ordered Model A parts from many different Vendors. They always seem to want to make sure you are very satisfied. It is not good for businness if they dont correct it. Things can go wrong in shipment or maybe they did not notice it was damaged when they pack it. If you call and they give you the run around, ask to talk with a supervisor. I would give them a chance. If they do not correct it then get another vendor. Please let us know if they corrected the problem.

Received shipment from Macs the other day. Box was not damaged, but the 2 blade fan I ordered was gouged in a couple of places. The fan was in a sealed plastic sleeve that was intact- not torn or damaged in any way. Don't see how damage to the fan could occur during shipping without putting a tear in plastic sleeve. I do believe they took great care to seal up a damaged part and ship it to me. A couple of calls to Macs have resulted in ref # and promises of follow up call. I've not heard back from them. I don't believe I'll be conducting any further business with Macs.

Making an assumption is not worth it..They are a reputable company and will do right, As you can see they shipped a new fan so a simple situation was corrected.

No fan yet. No follow up call. Don't understand why they couldn't take the info they needed from me and give me the info I needed from them (regarding return instructions) the first time I called?

i finally just got mine too. It had been back ordered. The outter parts of the blades look like they were hit by a grinder and their is a few paint runs

Yeah, 'til I noticed those little green drops on radiator. This part was not exactly pristine, either, but damage was cosmetic.
