Car cover

California Car Cover is good, but make sure you tell them how far down you want the cover to go. I took all the measurements for my friend's 29 Stutz so his wife could buy him a cover for Christmas. It was disappointing that the cover was too short to cover the running boards. 12 more inches of material down would have been perfect.

I got one from MAC's 6150 Donner RD Lockport NY 1.800.777.0948

all weather 215.00 plus shipping...the fit is excellent comes down and covers wheels, nice tight fit and has Eyelets to secure from under the car for extra hold down if needed and heavy duty

I got a really nice cover for mine from Bert's for $255. It is heavy and is fine for my garage through the winter, but I would like to find a light one like you would cover a motorcycle with, for those nights at the motel on a tour.

now here's a good one, I ordered car covers for my T-Bird and Roadster pickup..for 50 bucks on E=bay..they came..both the same..just big box type covers...with disclaimers about not fitting...you get what you pay for..

I recently ordered three custom fit all weather ( Canada ) covers from California Car Covers. One for a 29 Ford Roadster pickup, one a 29 Ford Cabriolet and another for a 1932 Chevrolet 4 door Deluxe Coach. I made sure they knew about rear trunks on the two cars and side mounts on all three as well as the wood rails on the pickup. The 2 Fords came out of storage on the weekend and the covers fit like a glove, custom in every way. I could not be happier. I will try the Chev next week. This is now five covers I have ordered from them. I totally agree with LopezCarGuy in that you get what you pay for. These covers were about $250 each shipped and worth every penny of the price.
Hope that helps !

Got a 30 year old Hollywood Motor Car Co. (?) car cover, still looks great don't know if they are still in business or not but it has worked well. Inside storage. Cotton material.

Had two Calif. Car Co. covers on other cars, and they that weren't that great. They fall apart when you wash them, made out of a matl. that looks like a Bounty paper towel. I didn't like them.

Go to the Salvation Army store and buy some blankets for just a few bucks, toss them on the car and fugetaboutit.

Also look up a post by Marco on this,,,, a CCC cover boogered up his Roadster top if I recall correctly. Been some time since I read that.

The old Salvation Army blankets do absolutely nothing to repel the rain and snow. If it rains when they are on you have a mess. If cost is the only factor they work. If you want true professionalism you have to pay for it. I value my vehicles far too much to allow them to be exposed to the elements. By the way the California covers have a five year guarantee !
IMHO there is no comparison. Wayne
