Please tell me why??? There was nothing derogatory or insulting in the responses. Is it because I told him how to find the thread so he could read it instead of me taking the time to dig it up and provide it?

Silly me for wasting my time.

Sorry people...forgive my ignorance.

Oh Horse Hockey! It's not like any one else has ever quickly posted something that came to mind without taking the time to research.. I just say, Oops! Sorry, and get along with my life. :o

answering Dusty's original question: yes, it is a relatively rare car.

may i ask why

I'll take a stab at "why", ...maybe because some of the "non-purists" here only want to argue against or criticize what some of us have taken the time/money to research on our own!! This forum used to be enjoyable for a 'purist' to share their earned experiences and discuss facts from first-hand knowledge or experiences. Now it has taken on the "feel" of H.A.M.B in mine, --and many other's view. Therefore many knowledgeable 'purists' are just privately helping select Model-A owners who truly appreciate the efforts of others, ...and helping those who don't take the attitude they "deserve" to obtain the information that other's have worked hard to earn/learn. ;)

If you want I could bring up the gold plated Fordor AGAIN.

Wait - I already did that.

Well, except for the perception bashing I kinda liked the Towncar thread. It's a unique animal for sure. And that includes details of the Towncar itself.

But you can carry even less firewood in the back of a Towncar than in the back of a pickup.

There - something to dispute.
