Delete Threads

I have been trying to delete some of my threads. The system won't allow me to delete when I go the edit button. What am I not doing correctly? Thanks

You can't delete a whole thread that anyone else has posted on, only an individual post.

P.S. I got a good laugh at your signature line. It's great.

You Can NOT Delete the Original Post, but you can Delete any posts you make
on a thread after the original.
You can Edit the original post and erase the content of it.

I can on the HAMB, but NOT on the FordBarn.

I see. Thanks for quick replies. I guess I better watch how I do things. Thanks, Ole Henry. I use that with my troops. They don't let me walk behind them. But my favorite is, "Hey, Sergeant, where are we?"..."You are where you're standing...." I'm glad they love me.

You are correct. I stand corrected. (Just tried it and failed. Thought I'd done it before. Maybe I had and something changed since.)

Flathead Dave, you can go under the advanced option of your post and this will allow you to delete it. Like others have said, if you start a thread you cannot delete it, however you can always edit and erase all but one word or three letters of it. Hope this helps.
