Heater Switch Knob ID

Check various Ford knob colors in some parts catalogs. Your heater switch looks "reddish-brown". If so, it would be for a '40 Deluxe. Dan

The first 4 photos show the 1940 DeLuxe Ford car heater switch. THE SILVER BUTTON under the dash is my hidden starter switch. The original button is not hooked up. The other photos are of a later vehicle heater switch. Not sure what year. Click on photo to enlarge'

The 39 Heater switch is like your 40 except a lighter ivory color. The other pictures are 46, 47, and 48 as far as i know.

19Fordy .... your last three photos and the mounting plate look just like my '47, including the tan-grey color. Dan

The one I have is definatley like the second one. Not sure what box it ended up in when I sorted things last year. I have the mounting bracket also. Rod
