door seals on 39 ford coupe

Trying to rebuild a 1939 ford std. coupe. Does the seal at the bottom of the doors go on the door or on the sill. On my 46 ford truck they are on the sill and door shuts against it. But can't really tell on this car. Thanks,

The lower door seal is integral of the sill plate.

Here's how the sill plate looks and fits. This is a '40 but I think '39 is the same. The floor pan bolt and black floor mat are not correct for a 100 pt. restoration. Click on photo to enlarge.

1939 mounts differently than '40. Still, VERY similar.

Thanks guys, the old saying a picture is worth a thousand words is very true.
Well, in this case yes and no.
The pictures of the 40 are very nice and allow you a rough idea of how your seals will locate. However, keep in mind, the 39 seals do not mount the same way.
