Aluminium Fordor Sedan

Hey all, I've been tasked at work with finding more info on a Model T body we're trying to sell. So far I've determined that it's an early 1923 body, but past that I haven't found much. It's an all aluminium body, and it has the earlier style fenders. Are there any specific things I should look for/photograph? Ive got a bunch of pictures, but here's one to start.

Many years ago I was at B.J. Pollard's yard in Detroit numerous times & he had several model T cars with partial or all aluminum bodies. He speculated that they were a running experimental idea. Some had one quarter panel aluminum & the other side steel. I guess the best way to see how they stood up was to sell them & see if trouble occurs. Once painted you could not detect the aluminum panels.

Interestingly about 90 years later Ford is trying it again. The picture is a new Ford pickup with an aluminum body. This is creating quite a stir in the body repair trade.

They do exist, I to saw an early 23 all aluminum body 4 door about 5 years ago. I suppose if the paint was good, you would not know if it was steel or aluminum. I keep a pocket magnet screw driver and checked, the magnet did not pull to the body.

I guess it's early 1923 (no cowl vent). Mine (June 1923) has the vent.

Dumb question probably, but are there any tags or other ID anywhere on the body? Just thought I would ask.

Mine is a 1924 It has a vent and the cowl was steel. the Two Lower quarter panels were also steel.

I have read [ sorry can not recall where] that Ford had aluminium panels on the Fordors to keep the weight down. A bit tough on the little 22hp engine with all that woodwork & metal plus passengers to haul around.
Many of the Fordor T's here in NZ also came with Ruckstell rear ends to help them along.
