Tire Dealer Recommendation

I need to replace the worn ww bias ply's on my '53 Ford Vic. I want to put on wide white radials and need a recommendation for a source.

I would appreciate any recommendations, opinions, experiences (plus and minus), etc. with Diamond Back, Coker and/or other sources. I have a local tire store who would mount and dynamically balance.

Thank you.

I replaced the bias ply tires on my '40 with Diamond Back radials, and have been very pleased with them.

FYI, you can purchase Diamondback through Discount Tire for the same price. The savings comes with the mounting, balancing and free rotation.

They are Mirada Crosstour SLX, 225/75R16. They came with a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty, so they should be the last set I'll have to put on the car.:)

Check articles on the effects of aging on radial tires. You should be sure and replace radials, even if not driven after 5 or 10 years or they can fail unexpectedly. Just a word of caution, want you to be safe and enjoy many more years driving your toys.
