Is there a kit to connect the manifold heater to a hole in the floor board of a Model A car? I do not want to cut a hole in the firewall.
I think I purchased a heater kit from you some years ago and I didn't like the stiifness of the tubing supplied. I went to NAPA and found a more flexible aluminum tubing, a "carburetor pre-heater hose" 1 3/4 x 36 inches. I'm not sure if the ID number is BK825-6005. It looks and works great.I used to sell the Peter's heater but gave up as I could no longer find the flex pipe in the correct diameter and flexibility. I have a few of the castings left if I ever find the right piping for them.
Any chance you will be offering these heaters again soon? A '29 Phaeton is a very cold place to be in the dead of winter in SW IdahoI used to sell the Peter's heater but gave up as I could no longer find the flex pipe in the correct diameter and flexibility. I have a few of the castings left if I ever find the right piping for them.
My '29 coupe must have at one time had some sort of heater that came through the floorboard. Just behind the manifold, there's a hammered in area in the firewall, as if to make room for an elbow or ??????? (But NO firewall hole & the floorboards were replaced with new ones) Bill W. in SUNNY & 68 degree Kalifornia. NOT gloating, I just can't imagine what some folks are going through with such EXTREME COLD.
Ed, I used a computer case fan over Minerva's firewall heater, it turned 1022 RPM on 6 Volt & doubled the air flow. Found it CHEEP, $1.94, on the internet. If you put long wires, you could just LAY it over your register. Billl W.I just installed a Peters Heater last week, and today took it out for a ride to test it out. My niece is getting married this Saturday and I was hoping to be able to supply a little heat in the Town Sedan for her ride to the church. The heater works OK, but I need a small fan that I can put over the floor register to suck more air through the system.
