Help Finding Shop work Stool / Chair !! (( IT'S HERE !! ))

I need help finding a Shop / Garage work Stool / Chair.
I want it to have a back support & arm rests suitable to work at work bench as far as the height is concerned.

I can find with some with back support but not any with arm rests.

THANKS in ADVANCE

Bill, try a local store that sells kitchen & Outdoor furniture, you should find "Bar Stools” with both back and arm rest, and they swivel...:D

Build a metal framework under your old recliner and put your floorjack under it. You can raise and lower it to the height needed and when you get tired you can just kick it back and recline.

Now that's just silly. His recliner installed on a chain fall would save floor space and he could swing to his heart's content.

NOW that is what I am talking about.CREATIVITY Some one comes up with a Idea & It does not even get into prohuction & there are Improvments to be Had.

I have in mind what I want but can't find it.
A wheeled chair high enough to work at bench comfortably, the bottom cushion squire
well padded Back cushion well padded as well. arm rests padded as well.
Frame constructed out of chrome / Stainless pipe. All cushions covered with wome material that is easy to keep clean, some thing like what they cover the NAPA shop stools with.

That's not to much to ask for is it ????

My wife got a swivile chair at Staples, has height adj, padded seat and back rest and arms, arms not padded. Has wheels. I use at the PC. I assume it was fairly cheap as my wife bought it. LOL ken ct.

My wife bought me two bar stool chairs at garage sales for $1 each One has a back and arms and the other has just the back. One for the garage and one for the basement. Shes a keeper and so are the bar stools. Limit your beer intake though, it can be a long fall to the floor.

Hi Bill,

Try Staples or W.B. Mason. You could try the local used office supply store. Maybe GoodWill or Salvation Army.

THANKS Every one for the suggestions,
It sounds like a simple task to find a chair as discribed. And I have seen some that are close to what I want but not Quite so if there any other sugestions please keep them comming.

Bill, if your shop resembles anything like mine...i/e always something on the floor...wrech, nut's/bolts/extension cord...etc..get a stool that has rubber castor wheels, and one with a heavy metal base...

After tipping myself over too many times with "office" style stools, I found one (no arm rests though) as I described above...mine weighs a good 35-40lbs and provides a nice low center of gravity...if I recall it has 5 or 6 castors as well which adds to the stability.

Disregard if you're one of those guys who has a clean shop floor;)
