Mike's A-Fordable parts has the kit about $35 cheaper than mac's. What other sources are there? Which or who would you buy this from. I have like zero experience with any of these folks. Been out of the hobby too long. 1929 phaeton.

Thanks for any help / ideas.

Call Classic Wood Manufacturing , GREENSBORO N.C. 1-336-691-1344 ..they all might buy from this guy and then add their markup??? Fordwood does not make wood kits for the 180A. Classic wood was ok except in the door parts were to fat. The door panels did not sit well. Sand them down some.

I used one of Classic Wood's kits in my '28 phaeton body, and most parts fit very well. As expected, some parts required fitting, but overall it is a very good kit.

I agree that most of the parts suppliers probably buy from him and add thier markup, as I doubt there are many folks manufacturing these wood kits.

Cubel's in Huntington, Utah also makes wood kits for most model A's. I have never bought anything from them, but they have a decent website - www.fordwood.com. You might check them out. I have bought two wood kits (1928 special coupe and a 1929 phaeton) from Classic Wood in NC. They have been OK, however I had to do some serious fitting I thought I should not have had to do.

Glad I posted. Lots of good ideas here I would have never known about other wise. Thanks for the help.
