Dome Light

I feel pretty stupid asking this. But, how do you get the snap ring out on the dome light? Everything I have tried is damaging the lens. Someone must have done this, and has a trick up their sleeve they could share....

If it is the same as the Model B dome with a wire that runs around it, I used two reallt small screw drivers (like for eye glasses) one at the end to keep is from moving and the other slid under the other end and pryed out.

I did the same thing, needs to be very small or it will scratch the glass

would 2 toothpicks work? wood doesnt scratch glass nearly as easily

Small screwdriver worked. That ring was really jammed in there. Thanks all.
