Dizzy Stuck, does not rotate with Engine

I'm sure that with these posts and/or an ad in the wanted section you should be able to land a good used motor.

Collins offers both spellings with the meanings being the same:
distributor or distributer

  • the device in a petrol engine that distributes the high-tension voltage to the sparking plugs in the sequence of the firing order
I am not worried about the cost of pistons my problem is if I have to re-Babbitt the engine, that is where the cost of this becomes almost prohibitive. Anywho I do appreciate the help and all the words of wisdom will keep you informed on what I find.:)

The gear was damaged due to the spring on the bottom of the pan being broken, that is my guess as nothing else was damaged.
