Need advice with wipers!

Gentlemen, as a "newbee" to the Ford Barn, I ask your humble opinions. I have a 1935 Ford Hot Rod with many custom touches. I am unfamiliar with many of the parts required for installing the "best" period looking and "best working" windshield wipers for this truck. I want the "right look" as this vehicle is used as a promotional vehicle for advertising my auto finance business. It will be used for special car dealer events and well as functionality. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have other nice cars and trucks, but I couldn't pass this one up when I saw it. It's my first hot rod and I am working many of the kinks out of it from acquiring it from the builder as he must have felt it would never see the rain. (I guess). It had only 800 Miles on it when I bought it a few weeks ago and will be using this as a "special" daily driver as well. I want a "stock look" but dual wiper system.

I would like some help if you know where to acquire the parts.

Randy.

Try our sister site the HAMB, they are more into Hot Rods and will point you in the right direction.

Gents, if Auto Focus had not said he had a "hot rod" would he still have been directed to the HAMB? He didn't say whether it had a c----y or flathead.

A beautiful ford p/u with chrome wheels. Does that mean that my cars would be classified by you to be moved to the HAMB as a "hot rod"? Not trying to stir the pot but have always been cautious about posting here because of statements like this being made once in awhile. I have been told that my T does not belong on the T forum so I respectfully honor their request. I personally like the Fordbarn best but it is your garage, your rules so I want to not intrude.

Please do not read anymore into this that just what it is. An honest attempt to find where I and my cars best fit in.

Thanks

Fourdy, we do have a few that are quick on the trigger and make assumptions without full knowledge. Some forget we are all "car guys" and we are a small community. If we don't stick together and help each other we could be dying breed. United we stand ,divided we fall.

I Feel anyone can belong here, my car is not all original but is all Ford. (dropped axle, disc brakes,39 trans,46 engine, repop this, repop that, all in a 40. All in all I'm more comfortable here then on the HAMB. Also I've seen alot of these names here since the late 90's and therefore I feel at home. I do feel if you have a chevy engine in your car your still welcome here but won't find much in common with most post made here, nor will you get much advise other than to change your engine.Fordbarn is loaded with GREAT PEOPLE! It is veered toward authentic where HAMB is more of a hot rodded. I say stick around and check both sites, time will tell you where your most comfortable, and enjoy your ride.

A lot of us are lucky enough to have more than one "hobby car" :) and, as a result, we frequent various related web sites for information, etc. I enjoy Flatheads most :D but, I would never suggest that someone with a "hot rod Ford” asking questions about something on the vehicle not related to the Flathead i.e., windshield wipers, go to another site... :( especially when that kind of information is readily available from FordBarner's. I agree, chrome wheels do not a hot rod make...;)
