Hello to all and thanks in advance for any information you may be able to send my way. I would like to know what the production numbers were for the 1929 roadster pickup? I have been told they were low and the truck is rare. I'm thinking about looking for one down the road. Also, any help in identifying frame numbers and locations would be helpful. I have tried the Internet and the information is all over the place.

Thanks

The best write up on frame numbers can be found at:

As you will read the number is just a serial number of the engine and does not identify the body style. You should add your general location to your profile (and post) so if anyone nearby finds one they can contact you. The July-August 1973 issue of Ford Life has an excellent article on the open cabs.

You can also go to www.plucks329s.org then go to Additional Studies then go to Letters, Numbers, and Codes and that to will explain the numbering system to you.
