Hey guys,

I'm piecing together my model a coupe from various cars. I have a 8 leaf rear spring I picked up. Is that the correct number for a coupe? thanks for any help.

Yes, the eight leaf spring is correct for the coupe.

What would a nine leaf be for?

The nine leaf was probably a ten leaf and was lessened to give a softer ride

The first 2 leaves on a sedan or pickup rear spring are thicker than on a coupe. I think they are 3/16" on a coupe and 1/4" on a sedan or pickup.
