Good source of engine consumerables - LA

Hey guys before shipping my car out to Australia I want to start getting all the parts I need together. Can someone suggest a good vendor, preferbably in LA where I can pick up things like plugs, points, condsenor, rotor cap, dist cap, leads, plugs, hoses, etc etc?
 
C & G EARLY FORD PARTS are an excellant source with quality parts and service. They are just south of LA in ESCONDIDO ph.#800-266-0470 for parts and#760-740-2400 for tech info.
May be others in or closer to LA that I'm unaware of.
 
Dont forget to see Richard at the early v8 garage,a good bloke and has 33 34 stuff,also the early ford store in San Dimos,they have a pile of stuff as well.
Make sure you fit new tyres to it as here in Aus they are 275 each against 118 there,get them from coker in long beach, or Richard can help there.
Where in Australia do you intend to live.
Also if you are doing the flathead up see Egge machine co for pistons etc, Red Hamiton for old nos rod bearings and engine parts.
We stopped off at eddelbrock and got heads from them down in Delamo.
And dont miss H and H flathead in La creshenta

Thanks Lawrie, ordering up brakes and probably tyres from Richard. Hadnt thought about asking him about the rest of the stuff too, will do. Looking at those excelsior radials that look a lot like bias tyres. In blackwall though as rims will be black too. I'll probably move back to Perth after my time here although grew up on the Sunshine Coast and feel my heart being pulled back to there. Guess only time will tell. Appreciate all the info mate.
