I saw a while back that some of the guys just ran to Wal-mart or Kragen for their 6 volt battery. I can't find the old post that stated what category to ask for. Mine has no battery to go off of.

The 6 volt battery for a Model A Ford is generally referred to as a "6 volt, group one battery". You can also get one at Sears.

You want a "Group One" 6 volt. That specifies the size. It is a little smaller than Henry's original and may need a few wood shims in the original battery box. The only way to get the exact original size is to buy a $300 repro battery. Even then it will loose points if you are in fine point judging. Most guys who just drive 'em get the $50 group one.
