Got this gismo for my 86th birthday and I have to share it. I am supposed to use it for gardening according to my daughter. Well today I used it fooling around with the Model A. WOW. Kneeling while working on the car the handles help you up with no effort. Washing wheels and polishing valve stems and bumpers the seat is just the right height. if you are under the car just get over to the unit kneel on it and the handles help you up. I llike it. Tony Bought it at Loew's $19.95.

Yeah, I made one almost like the one you show...about 15 yrs ago. Works well with 'bad' knees! Hmm, should have patented....
 
OK, that's the knees sorted.... now what to do about the back, hips and neck.... oh yeah, and the eyesight, hearing and creeping senility. :D
 
Clever idea. At my age (73), I need to plan ahead what I'm going to work on. When I get down under the car, I need to bring all the necessary tools to the job. It's such a pain in the neck to get up again when I've realized that I didn't have the proper tool to work with.
That gizmo you showed seems to be a terrific idea.

Heck, give me a case of beer and I can crawl on my knees all night...come to think of it after a case of beer thats the only way I can get around:rolleyes:
