Funny how the guys from the states where it never rains or snows say to leave it outside. I drive the wheels off mine, but do not leave them in the rain or snow on purpose.

For me it has nothing to do with the state I live in, even if I was back in Washington where I grew up mine would be outside. I have one inside parking spot and that belongs to the wifes car for hauling the kids around. My A is just another car, yes it is 80 years old, and yes I have to order most parts, but it doesn't get special treatment.
If I had an extra inside parking space I would definitly use it for the A, but it doesn't worry me that I don't.
I keep all my vehicles & equpment inside & out of the weather. Old or new they last longer and look better when well protected from the elements. I would only drive my A in the rain, if I were caught out in it.
I keep my Model As in my heated garage but I don't worry about a little rain if I'm on a club tour. When I get home I dry it and blow out all the tight places. I also show them once or twice a year which gives me the insentive to clean and detail them really well.
Mines a every day driver not just on sunny days or on tours but to and from work and (for work) other day I went and pucked up a bed full of graviel to fill in pot holes at work. I do just about anything with her, you name it and hell if she gets a little beat up and ill just tear her down to the frame and do her over again. so i dont realy see why leaving her out in the new england weathers a big deal. Maby the crome will rust Buy stainless.
Mine stays outside whether it wants to or not. I aint got a garage to put her in. Other than having to wash and wipe her every weekend its really not that bad. I also bought a very expensive car cover for her so that probably helps. As far as theft goes... I dare someone to even get near my Tudor without one of my 5 retired neighbors feeding them buck shot. LOL My neighbors love my A!!!!
Ditto -But I still use mine whatever the weather . In fact they are my work vehicle at least twice a week. They where made for the rain as well as sunny weather I reckon you ain't lived until you've driven a Model A in pouring rain with a vacuum wiper that doesn't really work -Karl
mine is a daily driver , everyday . i drive it in the rain . i do keep it in the garage when not driving as just a few blocks away are flaky peeps ! ......... steve
my 53 ford sits outside because i dont have a garage. if i had a garage my model a project and my 53 would be inside. my dads model a's sit in the garage. the restored one has not left the garage in 5 or 6 years, what a waste. the hot rod he drives almost everyday.
I wish I had a picture of my A when I had to pile it up with snow in my driveway. There was no other place to put the A or the snow. Maybe this year I'll take a picture.
Took my Tudor to its first car show last Saturday a real pretty day but came a downpour about midday this was the first time being in the rain since restoration I was so worried about the new top leaking all on the new interior but what the hell it is a driver so that is what I plan to with it when I get some of the "new" problems fixed. But I was relieved no leaks in the car! But when not driving it it is in the new 20x48 garage that I just completed for all my toys, Hit and Miss Engines and now the Tudor A.
I live in Oregon. It rains. A lot. If I didn't drive my A in the rain, I would almost never drive it. So I drive it in the rain, but I store it in a dry garage. I've had my sedan for 49 years, and refurbed it in 1980. The paint and top still look like they did in 1980, and that is due, I think, to always having it stored inside. But I've had more damage from bugs than from moisture.
