I posted some pictures once on the old barn, but never on the new barn. I've heard that it isn't difficult, but I need some simple instructions. Thanks
Glenn

same here. go down to Go Advanced,Manage attachments,Browse(click on photo) if more than one go to next browse(click on photo),Upload, wait for upload to finish, Submit reply. But it's not working? Do I have it right?

sounds right but if the photos are to large they will not post that's the problem I'm having .

My photos are 2.16MB as the properties say! wonder how to fix this? Maybe Ryan will step in and help.Thanks. Have done them in the past!

To adjust size and prepare to post, open the photo you want. Then click 'file' on the top header then choose 'export' from the drop down.

You then have options on sizing. Mine works on medium/medium but others may be different. Oh yes, select JPEG as your format.

Once that is over with, save the photo to 'desktop' (choose 'desktop' from the drop down when it asks you where you want to save to) . I rename the file as the subject matter so it's easy to find when I go back to look for it so instead of 12345.JPEG it reads Woody1 for example.

I have found that on uploading the order of the photos is reversed for some reason. Not helpful if you are trying to show chronological progress! There is probably a simple fix for this (anyone? Bueller?) but I just load in reverse order.

Once the photos are on the desk top then go back to your post and click the little paperclip to attach, then choose desktop as your destination and load the photos from that list (this is where renaming Woody1 Woody2 helps).

This might not be the best or only way but has worked for me.

Re: Test and picture test.
If you have a picture 'on line' storage places like PHOTOBUCKET, I have been using the 'Direct Code' for the picture and I place that copied code in the space provided when I'm posting.
Click on that yellow icon thing above every post. It has that has a black mountain and a black sun in the upper right hand side, on a yellow background. Rest the curser on it and it will tell you, "Insert Image".

That puts an window to put in the picture code in your message.
Might look like this--->> "Test and Picture Test." enter the URL code, that might just look like this--->> http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh299/1930fordroadster/Assembly9.jpg

Give that a try.

skip.
