Brockman mufflers

If anyone is trying to contact Brockman for mellowtone mufflers, their web site is down for repair/change. Their phone number is 765-489-4111, or the e-mail is cj.brockman@comcast.net I finally got to them to order a pair of their mellowtone mufflers after reading several comments by other Ford Barn members, thanks for the muffler ratings.

I am planning on Brockmans for my 53 but don't know what length to get. Any input? Stock EAB

The shorter, the louder and more aggressive! Just depends on what kind of sound you want.

State of tune and location also plays a big part in the exhaust note. The 12 " Brockman glass packs on my stock '51 239" are nice and mellow, while the same mufflers on the modified 286" in the avatar are much louder.

When you stated location has an affect do you mean how far down from the engine. Is more pipe after the muffler more pleasing?
