Lyle,
That's a pretty cool set up with Chevy distributor in front. Just wondering if the shaft could have been cut a little shorter to give more space between distributor and radiator?
BTW, looking at the front of your block I see block off plates on both sides. This tells me you have a '37 or early '38 21 stud block and not a '36 or earlier block. That block should also have insert mains. Cheers, John

Thanks John I am going to see if there is a better ,shorter set up. I have my own little machine shop.

I don't think it is a improvement. Chevy part on a ford. That Is the way it was.I bought the car for the running gear, lights.wheels, new tires.Other good stuff that would cost a bunch. don,t know how much money they spent on the car. I think I cut a fat hog in the rump. The T bucket,(fiberglass) will be replaced with a nice T C cap truck body. with a slick boxed frame. the Chevy dist. will be replaced with a stock one. If I can help it NO Chevy Parts. My Father told me that there was only one good car or truck FORD. H left me and went home to the Lord at the age of 94.

while I got this thing working. I posted the picture of the woman and her car.I bought it for her to keep her satisfied, and not feel left out. no I can get four or five more cars. before she gets disgruntled again.
