Oil drain plug gasket

I would like to change the oil in my 1930 Tudor tomorrow, and would like to replace the oil drain plug gasket at the same time.

Rather than wait for a mail order item, I hope I can find the appropriate item at NAPA or AutoZone.

Can anyone provide a part number or just size of gasket needed?

Thanks

Gasket? Just a soft copper ring that deforms to seal. Take the plug to NAPA to size.

Or goop up with #2 Permatex [non-hardening.]

skip.

Peter, I use the crush type copper gasket, I think its 20MM from Advance or auto zone. And use some automotive type silicone.

Local hardware store [not a big box] plumbing dept take plug with you and get some fiber washers will hold it all in. ken ct.

Take the plug to a Mom + Pop hardware and find in the plumbing dept and buy a 1/2 dozen of them for a couple of $ I get lots of gaskets there for various auto projects. They work great. ken ct.:)
