Got this for my little a powered t but I think its going to be to much compression for the engine so went with a Winfield instead.
Original Thomas head (note fin spacing compared to the snyders repops) nice older polish job, freshly surfaced, new set of champion plugs. I'm 99% sure this is an nos head, the guy I got it from had it for 30-40 years and never ran it, water passages look perfect, 0 corrosion. Best I can tell its around 7.5 to 1,

FYI....I've got a polished alum Winfield nos that has a combustion chamber like the one that you show here on this Thomas. My Winfield is 8:1 compression ratio. I also have a perfect Lion Head 111 which is cast iron and 7:1...which I'm running now and it is working beautifully on my B engine. It weighs 55 lbs , and flawless! If you don't sell your Thomas (what looks like 8:1) and want a 7:1 bulletproof cast 7:1 I'd trade across.
You can hear/see this head in action and drive it before I take it from engine if you like. I'd like 8:1 Thomas to run vs my 7:1. Pm me for pics is you'd like.

BTW- the experts say that for POWER ..run cast; for bling run alum! I looking at the Thomas bling right about now.

Thanks for the offer but already have the winfield head for the car. If anybody has one I might be interested in a tall 2x2 v8 intake in trade, Eddie Meyer, thickstun, weiand, etc
