I have a B block that measures 3 15/16" bore(Yup..with a ruler!).
What is standard/stock bore and how much over stock is this block bored?

Stock bore is 3.875 or 3 and 7/8 inches. I'll let you do the math but, a ruler is a very bad way to measure cylinder bores.

James,
Yup, if only I had a tiny part of Your skills/expertise/equipment/knowledge..I feel like a lucky Aer! Alas, I have a ruler and dislexia!! Thank you for sharing! Rick

.060" in round numbers, assuming a closer check with "more refined" measuring equip shows close to 3.935"

John,
Thanks! Hmm, form prior advice, I figured stock bore plus 1/16"..ergo: .060 overbore. Yeah, more refined is excellent, but ruler worked. Now give it back to her sewing kit!! Rick
