Rebuilding 1974 Maverick 8" rear end?

Is there a site or reference book that would guide me through rebuilding a Ford 8" differential? Would like to replace the 3:00 with a 3:80, any suggestions would be appreciated.
 
8" & 9" third members set up exactly the same, probably the easiest differentials ever to set up. Any older chilton, motors, mitchell or ford shop manual will have the details
 
Thanks for the replys, am leaning towards letting a driveline shop do the work, looks like it might be a little more to it than I thought.
