I've looked thru all my early Ford parts catalogs and haven't found anyone that seems to carry patch panels for the bottom front of '35-'36 Ford rear fenders. I've got three pairs and they all need patching there.
Anybody know of any outfit that makes these pieces?? I think somebody's missing a great market opportunity
Thanks for the help, guys.

EMS panels do not fit right. At least the ones I bought for my 35 roadster fenders 14 yrs ago didn't.They took them back. The distance from the running board to the wheel opening is different on each year from 1935,36 &37.Maybe 38-40 is the same I do not know.Hope this helps.

Bill,

Research a posting from back in May 2011...."1936 Fender Patch Panels", the discussions are similar this post...including pictures and response #11 is from the ems guy.....

hopes this helps, jim

Randy,
These are EMS units. If you look closely at the E-pay listing, in the area showing the manufacturer you will see EMS.
I have a pair of EMS patches that came with my car. They were so far off for a 1936 that I couldn't use them. I had replacements made from scratch.
