6 volt alternator

My customer wants an alternator for city driving at night.
Will the stock wiring hold up with a 35 amp, 6 volt alternator or will I have to replace the wires from alt. to amp meter and starter cable?

It's fine. How are his reflectors? Tarnished originals won't give off prober light and reproductions are not shaped correctly and will not focus the light correctly.

Does he know that there are Halogen bulbs that will work with the generator?

halogen bulbs that work with the generater Mike? Explain.
I have converted several early V8's to halogen and they all discharged due to the 22 amp draw.
I cured the problem with a Fun Projects voltage regulater but they still discharge at slow speed.
This guy is gonna do a lot of night driving in heavy traffic.

I use the 35W classicand vintage bulbs (8+ years), the lighting system with them and the tailights is about 10-11 amps, the generator has no problems with keeping my battery up, about 50% night driving, and I use the headlights during the day on long trips to prevent overcharging the battery.

Stock generator. diode cutout, Optima battery(14 years old), no fuse, no battery maintainer ---no problems, no repairs for many years,no shutoff switch, no dead battery

Go with a NU REX and you wont have any issues at all, Best Alt i have seen out there for the Model A
