Here we go again! I responded to an ad on the internet, got real interested, had to go look it over- another project. I've always loved 40 fords, I think they are second only to duces. Anyway she is in pieces and it will be a long term project, but with the barners help I know she'll be running again.

Picture will come later, right now I'm trying to find enought room in my garage to fit it in. It has nice frame, beautiful fenders and hood. No rust on the doors or fenders, but the floors will need replacing from the front seat forward. It had no engine or trans, but have that covered.

Oh my! What is it. Deluxe or standard? Coupe, humpback, or 4 door? Uh! Uh! Uh! Inquiring minds want to know!

It's a two door sedan that somebody started to chop. Don't be scared, it looks like they have done a good job. It's almost finished, only the right "c" piller needs to be done, It's a mild 2" chop. Now the good news- it comes with a fatman front suspension, and parallel rear springs. The fenders are beautiful as are the hood and grill. No engine or trans, and the seats are just springs. I'm frantically trying to find a spot in my garage for the body and fenders.
I'll send so pic's when she gets home. Should look good next to your truck on the next tour. Take care, Chuck.

PS: Oh yea $2200!!

Sounds really good. What is you intended power train? Next year's tour should be a fun one. BTW I went to get a closer look at the Vicky. Still on the fence for a decision.

Way to go Chuck! It's always a good day when you hear about an old Ford finding a good home. I'm sure you will do a first class job on that project. I still can't stop thinking about the NE tour and spending some time on my B-day on Mt. Washington. Looking forward to doing a tour there again with you folks. J.M.

Good to hear from you guys, we must stay in touch thru the winter. Kathie and I think of the tour almost everyday, and still get a laugh or two.
The drive train will be a 276ci 8BA, with a c4 automatic so Kath can drive it. She thinks it should have A/C too. At any rate it will be a long term project... like a nice big steak, take you're time and savor it, take care Chuck.
