Gas filler neck grommet ?

Did the 1933/34 pickups come from the factory with a gas filler grommet between the filler neck & the bed? I made this one up after getting the idea from MRMOOSE & his truck Amos.

Gary, I do not believe they came with a grommet, but obviously from an esthetic standpoint one was needed. Yours looks great to me, better done than the one I did on Amos. What did you make it up from?

Hi, I made it from some leftover rubber for the rear window seal Mac's # b-704220 which you probably used on Amos, there is quite a bit left over as it is 92in. long. I hope mine stays in place (time will tell)
